For reasons of hygiene, respect for the property and peace of mind for all our hosts, pets of guests are not allowed in the property.
However, you can cross paths with the two dogs of the property, our four-legged companions, as your days go by. Accustomed to the place, they are gentle, calm and discreet and do not intervene in your private space.

Pets
For everyone's comfort and tranquility, pets are not allowed.
Security deposit (Deposit of €500)
In order to guarantee the good condition of the accommodation and its equipment during the stay, a security deposit of €500 is requested from the tenant.
The security deposit is paid by bank transfer no later than 48 hours before the scheduled date of arrival, according to the bank details provided by the host.
In the absence of damage or a sum due, the security deposit will be returned in full within a maximum of 7 days after departure, after checking the condition of the accommodation.
In the event of damage or sums remaining due, all or part of the security deposit may be retained, up to the amount of the costs actually incurred or the sums due. The tenant will be informed of any deductions and supporting documents may be communicated to him on request.
The security deposit does not constitute a deposit on the price of the stay and cannot be used to pay the balance of the rental.
Terms of cancelation
In order to offer you clear and transparent booking conditions, the cancellation methods are as follows:
Customer cancellation
– More than 30 days before the arrival date: free cancellation and full refund of the amounts paid.
– Between 30 and 15 days before the arrival date: 50% of the amount of the stay remains due.
– Less than 15 days before the arrival date: the total amount of the stay remains due.
In case of no-show of the customer on the scheduled day of arrival, no refund can be made.
Changing your stay
Any request to change the dates of stay is subject to the availability of the accommodation and must be made as soon as possible.
A change in dates may result in a change in the rate when the new dates correspond to a different rate period.
Cancellation by owner
In the exceptional case where the owner is forced to cancel a reservation, the sums paid by the customer for the stay concerned will be fully refunded.
Case of force majeure
Exceptional force majeure situations will be considered on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with applicable regulations and booking conditions.
We recommend that you take out cancellation and/or travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen personal events that could prevent you from making your stay.
Amenities and linen
Bed linen, towels and pool linen are provided.
The space also has a hairdryer, ironing facilities, and high-speed fiber Wi-Fi.
Pool & Child Safety
Information and precautions to know
The private pool is not supervised by a lifeguard.
Its use is the responsibility of accompanying adults.
Children must be subject to constant and careful supervision by an adult, near the pool.
The pool is not safe for children, the accommodation is not suitable for young children.
Reservation and payment terms:
To confirm your reservation at the Belvédère de Vieux-Fort, a first payment corresponding to 30% of the total amount of the stay is requested at the time of booking.
Payment of this first instalment can be made by credit card, in a secure manner.
The 70% balance must be paid no later than 72 hours before the scheduled arrival date.
The reservation is considered definitively confirmed after receipt of the first 30% payout.
A reminder may be sent to the customer before the payment of the balance is due.
In the event of non-payment of the balance within the stipulated period, the owner reserves the right to apply the cancellation policy provided for the reservation.
The tourist tax, where applicable, is charged in addition and indicated separately to the customer.
We prefer to pay by credit card to ensure a simple, fast and secure booking.
Tenant's Insurance and Liability
The gîte is covered by insurance taken out by the host as part of its tourist activity.
The tenant nevertheless remains liable for any damage he may cause, by himself or by the people who accompany him, to the accommodation, its equipment, facilities or property made available during the stay.
It is the tenant's responsibility, if he wishes, to make the necessary arrangements with his insurer to verify that his civil liability and, if applicable, his holiday insurance cover his stay in seasonal rental.
No insurance certificate will be required at the time of booking, unless specifically requested by the host.
Pets on the property
Presence of two dogs on the property.
Special conditions of stay
In order to ensure the safety of everyone,the tranquility of the place and the comfort of our guests, the following conditions apply to all stays.
Minimum age to book 18 years.
The reservation of the gîte is exclusively reserved for people aged 18 and over. The holder of the reservation must be of legal age.
Child safety.
The gîte is not suitable for the reception of children, in particular because of the presence of a swimming pool not secured by a specific protection device.
For security reasons, the accommodation is therefore intended for an adult clientele.
People outside the stay.
Only people declared at the time of booking are allowed to stay in the gîte. It is forbidden to receive or host people outside the stay without the prior consent of the host.
List of events and festivals
The organization of parties, evenings, receptions or any other event in the gîte and its exteriors is strictly prohibited.
Respect for the neighborhood and tranquility of the place.
The calm and tranquility of the neighborhood must be respected at all times.
The use of sound devices, music or any other equipment likely to generate significant noise nuisance is prohibited, especially in the evening and during rest hours.
As the gîte is in a residential environment, we ask everyone to exercise discretion and respect the place and the neighborhood.
Any breach of these rules may result in the intervention of the host and, in the event of serious or repeated behaviour, the early end of the stay without refund of the nights to be covered.
Subletting and making available.
The reservation of the gîte is strictly personal and nominative.
Under no circumstances may the tenant sublet, assign his reservation or make all or part of the accommodation available to a third party, free of charge or for a fee, without the prior written consent of the host.
Only the people mentioned at the time of booking are allowed to occupy the gîte.
Any subletting, assignment or unauthorized provision may result in the immediate termination of the stay, without refund of the sums paid, without prejudice to any claim for compensation in the event of damage suffered by the host .
Before your departure
Thank you for:
- undo the beds and drop off the used bed linen,
- gather the towels used,
- take your belongings,
- empty the refrigerator of the remaining food and beverages,
- deposit your waste in the bins provided for this purpose,
- turn off lights and equipment,
- Closing the doors and windows
- return the keys according to the terms indicated.
