Where the mountain dips its feet in the sea

Ours starts at Vieux-Fort, at the end of the south of Basse-Terre, where the road stops facing the open sea.

Here, the green mountain sweeps down to the Caribbean Sea, the trade winds are constantly blowing, and the horizon belongs to the Saintes archipelago.

This is not Guadeloupe in a hurry for large resorts. It is that of the villages where we say hello, the fishermen who return to port at the end of the morning, the Creole gardens overflowing with mango trees, banana trees and bright bougainvilleas. You come here to breathe, bathe, walk, eat out and watch the sun go down without ever looking at the time.

Our cottage is the garden level of our family villa: 100 m² entirely yours, with your private swimming pool of 9.40 m, your furnished kiosk of 40 m² and this view that we never tire of. We thought of it as we would like to be received — simply, warmly, with everything you need and nothing superfluous.
